We are a family run Honey Farm set in beautiful East Devon. We were established in 2010 by Ken, Maureen and Daniel Basterfield and we have been running the farm and tea rooms ever since. We can’t wait to see you here!

Events and Courses
We offer a wide range of courses from beginner to advanced. Evening sessions are often held online via Zoom. We also hold our annual summer residential which is popular with beekeepers who have between 3-5 years of experience.
Introduction to Beekeeping
This is a one day introduction to the delights of beekeeping. It is aimed at those with an interest in honey bees who may be considering taking up beekeeping, or who may just be interested in learning more about how honey bees live and the work of the beekeeper throughout the year.
Intermediate Beekeeping
The course is aimed at those who are considering beekeeping as a hobby. We will introduce you to beekeeping, giving you the skills and confidence to begin to manage your own bees with sympathy and understanding.
Advanced Beekeeping
This advanced course is intended to help experienced beekeepers make the transition from experienced to master and help them ‘think beekeeper’.

Our farm is located between the towns of Honiton, Sidmouth, and Seaton in East Devon.
We are very close to the ancient hill fort at Blackbury Camp. Please note that our postcode EX24 6JF is shared by a number of farms here, and satnav will take you to the wrong address!
When you are close, please ignore satnav and follow signs for the ‘Honey Farm’.
